Earnest Care and Trust Launches on Founder’s Father’s Birthday with Virtual Open House Event
Minneapolis, MN – On September 19, 2024, the birthday of the late Earnest Brown, Earnest Care and Trust will officially launch with a Virtual Open House. This new nonprofit, founded in honor of Earnest Brown, aims to provide essential legal support, advocacy, and education for elderly individuals to protect their rights and ensure their well-being.
The virtual event will celebrate Earnest Brown’s legacy and highlight the organization’s mission of safeguarding the elderly from financial and legal exploitation. Inspired by personal experience, Earnest Care and Trust was created by Patrina Green after witnessing her father, Earnest Brown, face legal challenges and vulnerabilities during his later years.
“Launching this nonprofit on my dad’s birthday feels incredibly meaningful. It’s a way to honor his life while making sure no other family has to endure the pain of seeing their elderly loved ones taken advantage of,” said Patrina Green. “Our virtual open house will allow people from all over to learn more about our services, ask questions, and get involved in this important cause.”

Attendees of the virtual open house will hear from experts in elder law and elderly care, learn about Earnest Care and Trust’s key services, and have the chance to ask questions in real time. The organization provides essential support for seniors, including:

Elderly Insurance Guidance: Offering help with navigating insurance options to ensure adequate coverage.

Additionally, the launch coincides with the nonprofit’s ongoing fundraising campaign in partnership with the American Heart Association, a tribute to Earnest Brown’s battle with chronic heart disease. The proceeds will help fund Earnest Care and Trust’s outreach efforts and provide free services to elderly individuals in need.

Minneapolis, MN — September 19, 2024 — Today marks the launch of Earnest Care & Trust, a new nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential legal information and support to elderly individuals. This initiative was founded in honor of Earnest Brown, who was tragically taken advantage of by his relatives, underscoring the urgent need for accessible legal resources to protect the rights and dignity of older adults.
Mission and Purpose
Earnest Care & Trust was born out of a deeply personal experience. Founder Patrina Green (Brown) witnessed firsthand the devastating impact that legal exploitation can have on the elderly when her father, Earnest Brown, was subjected to manipulation and deceit by close family members. Determined to prevent others from suffering similar fates, Patrina established this nonprofit to ensure that elderly individuals can access trustworthy legal advice and advocacy, safeguarding their rights and financial security.
